Connecting Materials with Industrial Applications

Ocean Material connects recycled marine and underutilized material streams with industrial applications. Our work brings together material sourcing, qualification, processing development and traceability, in collaboration with specialized recycling, production and technology partners.

Source and Qualify

We assess material availability, composition, contamination and consistency, alongside processing options and commercial viability. This helps identify suitable streams and the requirements they must meet for industrial use.

Develop Processing and Applications

We coordinate processing pathways and application engineering, including technologies for qualified streams that are difficult to process through conventional recycling routes. We match material properties with manufacturing requirements and use operational feedback to improve quality, efficiency and scalability.

Connect Supply and Industrial Use

Materials are produced and supplied directly by our qualified recycling and processing partners. Ocean Material develops and coordinates the system around them—from sourcing and partner qualification to industrial integration and market communication. Our role varies with the material stream and project; we do not apply one fixed model to every supply chain.

Build Traceability and Evidence

We work on traceability, material and impact data, and appropriate certification pathways. The aim is to support transparent information about origin, processing and application, while communicating both the potential and the limitations of each project accurately.

Our strategy is to connect these stages so that recovered resources can become viable materials for industry—not simply to identify a waste stream, but to develop a practical route from source to application.
