WEBSITE OPERATOR AND PURPOSE
Ocean Material’s main website is operated by OM Group Limited, 6/F, Cheung Hing Industrial Building, 12P Smithfield Road, Kennedy Town, Hong Kong. It provides a B2B material catalogue, material and application information, technology and company information, and editorial content for business customers and industrial partners. Contact: hello@oceanmaterial.com.
These website terms describe the current website. They do not replace separately agreed sales, supply, licensing or sponsorship contracts, or retrospectively change earlier agreements.
BUSINESS ENQUIRIES AND SAMPLES
Material pages and contact, material and sample enquiry forms help visitors discuss specifications, samples and projects. This website does not provide online product checkout, paid memberships, membership subscriptions or customer accounts. Submitting an enquiry or sample request does not itself place a paid order. Prices, availability, specifications, delivery and any applicable commercial terms are confirmed separately with the contracting supplier.
Technical information must be assessed for the intended application. Specific performance, certification or environmental claims apply only within their stated scope and supporting evidence.
THE CIRCULAR ROADSHOW AND DONATIONS
The Circular Roadshow is a not-for-profit education programme. Ocean Material is the programme initiator and educational content partner. KOMA KARANTH FOUNDATION LIMITED organises local programme delivery, teaching staff and school participation.
The donation page currently provides programme and donation information; the planned KOMA payment integration is not yet available. A donation route is being prepared under which donations will go directly to KOMA KARANTH FOUNDATION LIMITED through its own payment provider. Under that planned arrangement, Ocean Material will not receive or forward donations and will take no administration fee or margin from them.
The NGO is the intended donation recipient and will handle donation administration, payment enquiries and receipts where applicable. Details of provider fees and use of funds belong at the donation destination. Hong Kong charitable tax-exempt status does not establish tax deductibility in every donor’s country.
Donations do not purchase Ocean Material products, services or sponsorship benefits. Commercial sponsorships and sales-linked contributions are separate arrangements with their own agreed terms. See programme and donation information.
Ocean Material previously operated an individual-donation tool using Stripe and PayPal. Those historical donations are separate from the planned KOMA arrangement. These updated website terms do not reassign responsibility for past donations or change their agreed terms. For questions about a past donation, please use the recipient and contact stated on your original receipt. Visiting this donation page, including through an old donation link, does not confirm a payment.
ARTICLES, IMAGES AND TRADEMARKS
Insights, interviews and research summaries provide context and commentary. Sources, publication dates and any stated limitations should be read alongside the content. Views attributed to an interview participant are that participant’s views.
Website content and third-party materials remain subject to applicable intellectual property rights and licences. Display of a trademark does not by itself grant permission to use it. Requests to use Ocean Material branding can be sent to impact@oceanmaterial.com.
PRIVACY AND EXTERNAL SERVICES
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Links to external offerings, including the separate merchandise shop and any future NGO payment service, lead to services with their own terms, privacy information and, where applicable, transaction arrangements.
MANDATORY RIGHTS AND CONTACT
Nothing in these website terms excludes mandatory legal rights or responsibilities. Corrections and questions about this website can be sent to hello@oceanmaterial.com.
