Aqua Vienna: An Application Concept for Reusable Beverage Packaging

Three glass bottle designs for the Aqua Vienna packaging concept

Aqua Vienna is an application concept for reusable beverage packaging, developed by the team behind Ocean Material. It brings together reusable glass bottles, transport crates made with recycled HDPE and refill drinking bottles. The brand identity, positioning and product concepts are developed; commercial implementation remains a planned next step for which investors and operating partners are being sought.

Three packaging elements

  • Reusable glass bottles are intended for the bottled-water range and repeated use.
  • Recycled HDPE transport crates connect recycled Ocean Material with reusable transport packaging for the bottles.
  • Refill drinking bottles are intended for everyday use, including refilling with Vienna’s tap water.

Connecting materials with an application

The concept gives each packaging element a distinct role: glass bottles for reuse, recycled HDPE for transport crates, and drinking bottles for refilling. The recycled-material application is the transport crate; the glass and refill bottles complement it within the wider packaging concept.

Aqua Vienna combines these product concepts with a Viennese brand identity for hotels, restaurants and tourism partners. Hospitality editions and co-branded formats remain possibilities for collaboration.

Investors and implementation partners

Aqua Vienna is seeking investors and operating, bottling and commercial partners to bring the concept to market. The developed brand and product concepts provide the starting point for this next stage, rather than describing an already launched packaging range.
