Natural-colour PA6 GF30 pellets combining a recycled nylon 6 material basis from end-of-life fishing nets with 30% glass-fibre reinforcement. Recycled glass fibre is available on request, not automatically included in every grade.

Material basis: recycled PA6 (nylon 6) from end-of-life fishing nets.

Reinforcement: 30% glass fibre (GF30).

Colour: Natural.

Recycled glass fibre is available on request. Its use must be agreed for the selected compound; the recycled PA6 basis does not mean that the entire compound is 100% recycled. Further technical details and the applicable test conditions are to be clarified through the corresponding TDS.

Origin

Countries of origin: China, Taiwan. The PA6 feedstock comes from end-of-life fishing nets. These nets have been used in fishing, reached the end of their useful life, and are collected for recycling. This is post-consumer feedstock rather than manufacturing scrap; it does not imply that the material consists of lost ghost gear recovered from the ocean.

Sustainability & Impact

Using recovered fishing nets as a recycled PA6 feedstock supports material recovery after the gear's service life. The environmental performance of a specific grade depends on its production and supply chain; a general origin description is not a quantified impact claim. The recycled PA6 basis and the glass-fibre component must be considered separately.

Quality & Traceability

Material qualification should use the TDS and the origin, quality and traceability information relevant to the selected grade and partner facility. Ocean Material helps coordinate that review. Certification scope and available documentation must be checked for the specific grade; they are not automatically identical across these products.
