Description
Our Recycled HDPE Ocean-Bound White FDA MFI 0.3 is a milky-white, translucent polyethylene pellet grade made from 100% post-consumer recycled material in Thailand. This deodorised grade is intended for blow moulding and blown-film applications, including suitable packaging projects. Defined food-contact uses are supported by a US FDA Letter of No Objection. Ocean Material helps match the grade to your application, processing requirements and sourcing needs. Technical data sheets and supporting compliance documentation are available on request.
Ocean Material supports material selection, specification alignment and sample evaluation, and coordinates sourcing for the intended application. Technical data sheets, detailed specifications and supporting documentation are available on request.
Specifications
This recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE) grade is supplied as White pellets made from 100% post-consumer recycled material. The pellets are milky-white and translucent. The grade is deodorised and has a nominal MFI of 0.3. Further technical properties and processing requirements are clarified using the appropriate TDS after contact with Ocean Material.
Applications
The grade is intended for blow moulding, blown-film applications and suitable packaging projects. Deodorisation is a relevant selection characteristic for personal-care and cosmetics packaging, where odour requirements need to be discussed for the intended product. It does not mean that the material is completely odour-free or suitable for every application.
For food-contact packaging, the proposed application and conditions of use must fall within the scope of the relevant documentation. Ocean Material coordinates grade selection and the review of your processing and finished-product requirements with the supply partner.
Origin
The material is post-consumer recycled HDPE, manufactured in Thailand. Ocean Material is the supplier and enquiry contact, not the manufacturer. The specific input waste stream and supporting origin documentation can be discussed for the intended supply; no particular collection source is claimed here.
Sustainability & Impact
Using 100% post-consumer recycled material returns previously used plastic to material production. Where the grade meets the processing and product requirements, it can substitute for virgin HDPE. Actual environmental performance depends on the production process, supply chain and application; no quantified carbon saving is claimed for this grade.
Quality & Traceability
Technical data sheets and supporting compliance documentation are available on request. Ocean Material helps review the grade against your application and coordinates the documentation needed for material selection and traceability with the supply partner.
US FDA Letter of No Objection for defined food-contact uses. Suitability is limited to the applications and conditions covered by that documentation. We will clarify the relevant scope and documents with you for the proposed use. This is not a blanket approval for all food applications and does not establish a general EU food-contact clearance.
Source Certification: Source Certified. Supporting origin documentation is reviewed for the selected material and supply.
Carbon Footprint & LCA
Life cycle assessments (LCAs) are available for selected materials and production sites within our partner network. Availability and scope vary by material grade, production location and supply chain.

FAQ
What colour are the pellets?
Milky-white, translucent pellets. The catalogue colour is White.
What is the nominal MFI?
The nominal MFI is 0.3. Request the appropriate TDS to review the detailed technical information for your processing requirements.
Does deodorised mean completely odour-free?
No. Deodorisation is a general characteristic of this grade, not a promise of complete odour freedom. Tell us your odour requirements, particularly for personal-care or cosmetics packaging, so that the material can be assessed for the intended use.
What does the FDA reference mean for food contact?
US FDA Letter of No Objection for defined food-contact uses. The relevant applications and conditions of use must be checked against the supporting documentation. It is not an unrestricted food-contact approval or a general EU food-contact clearance.
Which colours or grades are offered?
Deodorised; 100% post-consumer; scoped FDA LONO
How can I request samples and technical documents?
Technical data sheets, detailed specifications and supporting documentation are available on request. Use the material inquiry button with your application, specification, quantity and delivery destination. Sampling conditions are set out in Ordering & Lead Time.
